It has been the third time within two years we’ve been commissioned to execute a hall in the area operated Budapest Free Port Logistics Ltd. This River Danube port is part of one of Europe’s busiest inland waterway. This time Weinberg is building halls for MASPED Logistics Ltd, one of the biggest and oldest players of the Hungarian logistics market.
Following construction of two “green” logistics centres here our team has a fair knowledge of the location and excellent routine. The two storage halls to be executed have a surface of 10 and 6 thousand square metres and a height of 14 metres.
During the summer months we were able to make good progress with this new task. In the case of the 6,000 sqm hall the roof and façade cladding has already been achieved. Work in progress includes the pouring of the floor, placement of side elements, and fitting of windows and doors.
It is intended to commemorate here in this new hall, in a ceremony organised on 16 October, of the 100th anniversary of the port and the 70th anniversary of the foundation of Masped.
